YESTER-YEAR
What was wrong with last year? Who decided we need a reason to start over with a new one?
Last year was a year of adventures, it was scary, awful and absolutely amazing.
I spent the year in seven different countries, lived in three of them, and only stayed in the same place for about three months. That’s how it should be, different people, cultures and completely different lives. Or that might just be what I’m trying to tell myself, if I could choose, I would stay in San Francisco for ever.
I got a Digital Media degree from Hyper Island, had a perfect summer in the states, two amazing best friends who completely gets me, I got a design job at one of the (at least) top 10 agencies in the world, I got a beautiful flat in London, the best gay-guy-friend anyone can ever wish for. I know who I am, and exactly what I want. I got rid of the one feeling I’ve been carrying my whole life, an emptiness inside me telling me something is missing. I got a home and I got a hella bunch of love. I got memories that will always be in my heart, memories of toasted dinner-dates with a very special guy, unreal beaches with best friends, hard work, travels, sunshine and so much more.
The only two things I would love to live without is relationship’s with deadlines and Goodbye’s. There’s been too many goodbye’s of people that mean the most to me this year. I like Hello’s so much more.
