Finally got to send off the Photos to ZAP Models from our Final Project Photo-shoot to be used on their website. The model is Emma Morland, she’s so pretty. The clothes are from Rodebjer, give me them all! <3

Today I’ve actually been kinda productive, I’ve finish my Site-Presentation-Motion for my Final Project Presentation which will be on Tuesday next week, going down to Hyper on Monday for a week of presentation and graduation, Sweet! Along with that I also made the Keynote, and wrote the presentation-text so I know what to say. For once in my life, I’m not doing this the last day, feels awesome. To celebrate my awesomeness I’m now eating hella good candy.
I also made a dress today, I was gonna finish the one I’d started on a couple of weeks ago and I still am, but then I found this old weird pants my mom had, and which have a pretty dope pattern, just not a pants pattern, so I decided to change their apparense and turned them into a cute jumpsuit/dress kinda thing.
Over all, I’m not a very good worker, or maybe if someone transfer me to a colder climate with an awesome office with chocolate in. But for now, I’m placed in the most beautiful summer landscape of Sweden, this is exactly my point. When I’m suppose to be working, you can easily find me bikining in my backyard. This leaves me with hella work during the evenings, which after all isn’t that bad at all, but I do realize it’s a bit stupid. Today I’ve been working on my tan, written my Proof of Concept for the Final and am now about to implement the last text into the menus on the site.
I also found out that I wont be able to present my Final Project for my class when we go down to Karlskrona in the beginning of June, this because the material we shot for the site is not gonna be release until the end of the summer and therefor can’t be shown to anyone. I’m a bit bumped about this, now I got to present it only to the serious judging business people which, no offense, isn’t the same fun.
Last night I looked over this piece of code which I have been really avoiding because I had no idea how to solve it, and after staring at it for about 10 minutes I fucking made it work. I’m not a great coder and this project have been a bit of a pain in the ass, although I’ve learn a lot along the way, but yesterday I got so happy and actually a bit proud of myself. jeay!
Since our internet is down I’ve been sitting at Mia’s pretty much every evening/night this week. Hella working, eating candy, laughing and even kinda crying. Makes it so much easier to work when you got great company across the table. My Final project is actually starting to look like the final result, been retouching about 180 pictures from the Photo shoot and starting to get all the code right for the site. Only thing that sucks right now more than the fact that I don’t have internet at home, is that I need to write a Proof of Concept. Definitely don’t got time to write.
I’ve also been working on my dress, trying to figure out and copy the pattern from a dress I bought in Montreal. I’ve finally got the pattern right and been sawing a “test-version” in some ugly easter fabric, and now I will be able to start with the actual dress, yej. Gotta put up pictures when it’s all done.
One months left of the Final Project. Really mixed feelings, hard to say if I have tons of time or non at all. Totally depends how the project will evolve. Better keep working. Although it is kinda hard when the sun is shining outside. Going to stay in Stockholm another week, then go back to my parents where there’s nothing else to do that work, which is good. haha.
Here is some pictures from last nights Photo shoot. Had the most beautiful young girl modeling for us and the clothes (sorry, no name dropping) were absolutely gorgeous. Wanted to keep them all. Got the studio from 10 p.m. so we really had to pull an all-nighter, left the studio around 5 a.m. walking home along with the sunrise.
Had to get back to the office in the morning to return the clothes so got a couple of hours sleep in between, and now been sitting all after noon/evening going through all the material. Looks great and everything went so well, can’t wait to see the final result.
Been too lazy updating my blog lately, just that it’s not that much to write about. Working on my Final Project, mostly sitting with Flash all days and nights. But tomorrow we’re gonna do the Big Photo shoot with all the clothes for the site. Going to be so much fun!! And it’s going to be so much fun to implement all the image material to the flash later on, so boring to work with it when it looks boring as now.
Yes, right now, it’s all about me.
So, back in Stockholm again to keep going with the Final Project, presented two different design and concept directions to the client, and now we’re waiting for them to decide where they want to take it. In the meanwhile kicking some freelance work of, have been working on wireframes and some concept for a client meeting tomorrow. Need to get some more freelance work in during the summer tho, let me know if you know something?
Kinda realized that the life of Self-employment and Finalproject is hella great. You can be wherever in the world you like, work whenever and enjoying the sun all other hours of the day. Or just.. work when it is not sunny.
